Our Doctor

​​​​​Dr. Brianna Herring was born and raised in Miami, FL. Dr. Herring attended Miami Dade College where she obtained her Associate in Arts degree with honors. Dr. Herring graduated Cum Lade from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Go Gators!). Dr. Herring then attended Nova Southeastern University for Optometry school where she graduated top of the class of 2022.

Dr. Herring decided to stay at Nova Southeastern to complete residency training and specialize in primary care, pediatrics, and binocular vision. During her residency, Dr. Herring was able to see patients of all ages, from as young as 6 months of age. Dr. Herring also trained and specialized in vision therapy while at Nova Southeastern as part of her residency. Vision Therapy is a structured program to improve visual skills and conditions like convergence insufficiency and amblyopia among other conditions. Dr. Herring is very passionate about her specialty, especially helping children with vision issues so that they can perform to their highest potential. Dr. Herring is a first-generation student and doctor in her family. Dr. Herring's professional goals are to treat all her patients like family, and she is excited to be able to do so in the setting of her practice.  

In her free time, Dr. Herring enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, staying physically active, and she is a big fan of cruising. Dr. Herring's favorite area to visit is the Caribbean.
